I was lucky enough to get Tyler's attention to fill out these 21 questions when he wasn't busy working at the park or shredding on his rainbow coloured bike. Thanks Rizzi!

Name: Tyler Rizzi
Age: 21
Hometown: Hunstville, ON
Years Riding: 2
1.) What was the biggest influence on you that made you want to start biking?
Well one of my friends used to bike abit and he used to do cat walks and stuff on his Zellers bike. I thought it was the coolest thing, so i got out my sportek and started practising like everyday. The feeling you get when you learn something biking is just awesome, it makes you want to learn more, and it also helps stress and get things off my mind.
2.) A lot of riders still recall their first ever BMX, how about you?
Funny thing, I swore by mtb and said I would never ride bmx; But my bike got stolen right when the snow was melting and I wanted to ride so bad after not riding the whole winter. So I picked up this cheap bmx, an Integeral Bel Air. I wasnt stoked, but after a while i got used to it and loved it.
3.) I notice you travel quite a bit between St. Thomas and Hunstville. How do the different riding scenes compare?
Well huntsville just recently got an outdoor park 2 years ago, so the scene is kinda just starting. Alot of the smaller kids have gotten into it up there, but the surrounding cities like Barrie, North Bay, Gravenhurst and Sudbury (shout out to ryan eles hes the man!! ) all had pretty good riders.
4.) Is it true what they say about Huntsville… You gotta hide yo kids, hide yo wife?
hahahahaha oh you know it.
5.) You have had some pretty serious crashes in 2010, few head plants to say the least. What motivates you to get back up and just keep given it?
Haha yeah, parents weren't to happy about that. The first one in March on that rail was pretty stupid I'll admit, that was probably my first major crash bmxing. It didn't really phase me at all, I went riding the next day haha. The one a few weeks after that, knocking my 2 front teeth out really messed me up. I'm still dealing with the after affects till this day, I didn't ride for probably a month and a half after that, partly because of surgeries and stuff, but mainly because i was scared shitless. Eventually a got back to where I was feeling comfortable on my bike. Everything has changed since that day, I think alot about what I'm doing before i do it. To everyone reading this i suggest you wear a helmet and a mouth gaurd when you ride #realtalk.

It's a dream come true. It's alot more work then I expected, but it's all worth it. Never thought the day would come.
7.) There was a lot of names going around when it first opened up like Revolution, Ramp Riders and even Rizzilution, what made you decide to choose Rizzi's Bike & Skatepark?
Yeah, we had Revolutionz and a couple other names floating around, Rizzi's actually not being one of them. As you know everyone usually just calls me by Rizzi, not Tyler. It's kind of a catchy name, so we just went with that and it seems to be working pretty well. It's kinda weird for me to say "Hey, come to Rizzis" though haha, so i call it the park.
8.) It really looks like you and your dad are doing a lot of changes inside, what kind of things do you wish to do and/or have accomplished so far?
Yeah, over the past couple months of opening we have done alot. A big one was doing the new set up out in the park, thanks to the 20 or so people that came out and helped for the 5 hours it took. Other than that, painting, re-arranging, Xbox, 55 inch big screen tv, heat, hot water, our main goal was to make the lobby area alot better for new people coming in and for the riders to hang out. We're basically done with that now, so we've started working on the park. In the works right now is the new box jump, it's lookin sick. As for other stuff, it's gunna be a suprise haha.
9.) There is a BMX Competition coming up on the 13th of February (at Rizzi's Bike & Skatepark), care to give a quick rundown on how thats going to work?
Indeed there is, we made the divisions by skill level, not age. It may work, or may not, I guess we'll find out. Divisions are Beginner - 20$, AM - 25$, AM Advanced - $25 and Pro - $30. Practice and sign up is from 9 am to 11:30 am. Comp starts at 12 noon. The Monster truck should be here and were hoping to have John Heaton announcing. After the comp, everyone can stay and hang out too. Even if your not riding it, come out and check it out.
10.) Which sponsors are lined up for the event?
Well for right now we have Comfort Inn, Monster, Coca Cola, and my dads in the process of trying to deal with all the shops in the surrounding area, we wont know exactly for another little bit.

11.) Speaking of contests; Your all signed up for the 2011 Toronto BMX Jam in March. Who are you looking forward to seeing ride there?
Yes sirrr. I'll be stoked just being there with all my friends having a good time.
12.) Seeing that Rizzi's Bike & Skatepark sees a lot of riders each day; Who do you ride with the most?
I ride almost everyday with Jake Vanderweyden, new rider Randy Down comes out alot, he's gettin pretty good. Other then that just the normal locals and the out of town guys that come every weekend... I'm lovin it.
13.) Your last edit was your best yet and your dipped 3's are getting ridiculous, been working on anything else lately?
Haha thanks man, cant wait till that new jump is done so I can start throwin down some 720's. Oh, and yeah, fuck tail whips.
14.) I gotta ask… Has your right foot found the pedal yet?
It found the pedal yesterday, but sadly enough into foam haha
15.) Your bike always has a rainbow paintjob feel to it, what makes you choose to ride the rainbow?
Everyone elses bike just looks kinda plain, they all look the same. I rarely see a bright outstanding bike, but when I do I love it haha
16.) The typical put your iPod on shuffle

Aggro Santos Feat Kimberly Wyatt - Candy
